The best hikes from Karerpass
True luxury is not having to drive. The most spectacular trails to the Rosengarten and Latemar begin literally the moment you close the front door.
Rifugio Roda di Vaèl: a balcony over Val d'Ega
Lace up your boots and take trail 549 directly from your apartment. In about two and a half hours, passing through Rifugio Paolina at 1,966 m, you'll reach the 2,283 m of Roda di Vaèl. The effort will be rewarded by a boundless view that embraces the entire valley.
Rifugio Fronza alle Coronelle: touching the Rosengarten
Still following trail marker 549, this trek takes you to 2,337 metres of altitude, right at the feet of King Laurin's realm. It's the perfect starting point if you dream of tackling the celebrated via ferratas to the Vajolet Towers or Rifugio Re Alberto.

Rifugio Torre di Pisa: among the rock pinnacles
A challenge for experienced hikers, but one of unparalleled beauty. Climbing to 2,671 metres on the Latemar, you'll find yourself surrounded by leaning rock towers that defy gravity, in one of the most striking lunar landscapes in the Dolomites.

Latemar Forest: the music of nature
Want to explore without taking a cable car? The Pearl Trail (5 km, easy) and the panoramic Hirzel Trail are perfect. You'll walk through ancient forests famous for their "resonance spruce trees", whose wood is still chosen today to craft the finest violins in the world.

The Latemar Labyrinth and the Mountain Cinema
A circular hike that feels straight out of a fairy tale. Sit in the wooden armchairs of the "Mountain Cinema" to admire the spectacle of the Rosengarten, then venture into the Latemar Labyrinth: a thrilling maze of enormous rock blocks and natural steps nestled between the Latmor Alm and the Radura di Mezzo.

Mountain Bike: the adrenaline of the Latemar Ronda
For two-wheel enthusiasts, 11 km of pure panoramic wonder. Alternatively, you can cycle from Karerpass all the way to Moena, passing by Lake Carezza. Don't have a bike? No problem: rent your e-bike from Sport Lucy (on the ground floor) with an exclusive 20% discount.
Val di Fassa with children: nature tailored for families
Gentle walks, endless meadows and animals to pet. From our Pass, the safest and most magical trails for little explorers begin.

Baby trekking and stroller-friendly walks
Wide, flat trails with no elevation change. Reach the Stadl Alm with a stroller so the little ones can meet the farm animals, follow the Three Huts Trail, or arrive in just 20 minutes at the fairy-tale shores of Lake Carezza.

Latemar meadows and perfect picnics
A safe walk with no exposed sections that crosses the Radura di Mezzo. It's the ideal open space to spread out a blanket, enjoy a family picnic and then continue on to the Latmor Alm for a traditional dessert.

Not just walks: the adventure continues
If the kids still have energy, Val di Fassa offers horse riding in Vigo, slides at the Vidor Aquapark and treetop courses at the Dolaondes park in Canazei. Everything is easily reachable, also thanks to the free transport included with the Guest Card.
Relax and nature: the slow rhythm of the Dolomites
For those who seek beauty without haste, among mirror-like waters, historic golf courses and warm thermal embraces.

Lake Carezza: just a step away
A rejuvenating walk through the forest will lead you -- without ever touching the car -- to the shores of this famous emerald mirror of water. Cross the suspension bridge among the trees and let yourself be enchanted by the legend of the nymph Ondina.

High-altitude spas and wellness
After all that walking, reward yourself with absolute relaxation. Just a few minutes' drive away you'll find the 4,000 m² of panoramic pools at QC Terme Dolomiti or the Kneipp path at Terme Dolomia in Pozza di Fassa. For our guests, entry is discounted by 10%.

Golf Club Carezza: a swing through history
Just 400 metres from the house, one of the oldest 9-hole courses in South Tyrol awaits you (1,680 m). Playing here, with sloping fairways lit by the sunset over the Rosengarten, is an unforgettable experience.

The authentic flavours of our Alpine huts
Earn your lunch on foot! In 5 minutes you're at Malga Secine with views of the Marmolada; in 45 minutes you reach Malga Frommer to savour genuine handmade canederli. And in the evening? Ristorante Antermont is right behind the house for an unforgettable Ladin dinner, accompanied by a glass of Lagrein or Gewurztraminer.
